On March 12, 2018 the arc furnace-3 produced the first steel after its repair work. On February 12, 2018 the EAF-3 was stopped for reconstruction and capital repairs. The planned scope of work has done three days ahead of schedule.

As a result of 2017 pipe rolling mill of BSW demonstrated maximum progress in production volume for ten-year working history. 141 801 t of hot rolled seamless pipes were produced in shop, it makes up 170% to the level of 2016.

Commission of European Accreditation worked in the Republic of Belarus to give parity appraisal for National system of accreditation, and assessed quality system of Chief Metrologist dpt. positively, noted that metrological assurance procedures comply with international requirements. Assessment of competence of employees from chief metrologist dpt. done by technical experts from the Republic of Belarus has also been confirmed.
