Pipe rolling mill of BSW in 2017 increased production for 70%
As a result of 2017 pipe rolling mill of BSW demonstrated maximum progress in production volume for ten-year working history. 141 801 t of hot rolled seamless pipes were produced in shop, it makes up 170% to the level of 2016.
As it was noted at pipe rolling mill (PRM), this performance was achieved thanks to well coordinated team work and good provision of orders. Totally last year manufacturing products were shipped to 126 customers from 19 world countries. Importers TOP-5 of Belarusian seamless hot rolled pipes includes RF, USA, Italy, Germany and Poland. Concerning the range of output goods the pipes for oil and gas industry were in demand in 2017 and those ones which are designed for reprocessing and engineering industry as well. Altogether for last year shop produced 432 pipe profiles.
Along with assuring of manufacturing process at PRM over the whole year there was active work for improvement and confirmation of output quality products. A number of external and internal audits were carried out in shop. Among the key ones it could be mentioned audit performed by body for supervision and certification of building products for steel constructions TUV-NORD Systems (Germany) and audit of American petroleum institute for management system conformation to quality requirements API Q1 and finished products to requirements API 5L and API 5CT.
