Pipe Rolling Mill set up a record of product shipment

By May results the Pipe Rolling Mill has shipped 15 171 tonnes of products that Accounts for 120,6 % of the past year figures and is the best performance of plant history.In sum 194 trucks and 151 wagons of hot-rolled tubes were supplied to customers.

New facility for steelmaking production has been launched at BMZ

On June 5, 2014 the dynamic reactive power compensation system was launched at Byelorussian Steeel Works (substation "Stal"). This facility is one of the stages of modernization of electrical equipment at the main step-down power substations.

BMZ actively continues modernization and reconstruction

Investments of Byelorussian Steel Works in basic capital were 68 million Euro  for  January-March 2014 (including ~61 million Euro investment in modernization)

From the beginning of 2014 several key modernization projects have been finished: reconstruction of the arc  furnace №1, continuous billet casting machine  №2, dust and gas catchers №1 and the construction of a new lime kiln plant №3 (LKP-3). All these facilities allow the company to increase production, improve product quality, making the production more effective and economical.

The third Conference of Suppliers was carried out at BMZ

On April 24, 2014 the third  International Conference of Suppliers was carried out at OJSC “BSW-management company “BMC” holding. The Conference was attended by 100 business partners from 11 countries of the world.  Three partners  were awarded with the title “Best Supplier” and  four partners - with the title “The Reliable Supplier” for results of reporting year.

The management system existing at BMZ was highly appreciated.

Within period from 25.03.2014 to 28.03.2014 the representatives of certification authority «BUREAU VERITAS» carried out the audit of management systems for compliance with the requirements ISO 9001:2008; ISO 14001:2004; OHSAS 18001:2007.
