BMZ was awarded for a long-standing work in the Polish market
The export achievements of Byelorussian Steel Works were highly appreciated in Poland. The Belarusian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded General Director A.N. Savenok for a long-standing work in the Polish market, contribution to development of international trade relations, staying power and goal achievement.
The awarding ceremony was held on September 22,2015 in Poznan during XIX economic Forum “Neighborly relationship-2015”. This is an annual Belarusian-Polish Forum that gathers the business and authority representatives of both states. Every year two firms (a Polish firm, working in Belarus, and a Belarusian one – in Poland) are awarded. Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs Vitaly Chernel was present at this event. He noted that BMZ has actively sold its products in the Polish market for 10 years.
It should be noted that Poland is a very important market for BMZ now. Its share in export increases confidently. The percentage was 12% for six months. All range of BMZ products is supplied in this country: from rebars to tyre steel cord. The products of a new Light Section Mill became also on demand. Wire rod has been supplied to BMZ Polska company from April, 2015.
The Polish customers are interested in cooperation with BMZ and appreciate the products quality and service. In Poland there are a few stocks to store and supply «just in time». Our steel products are widely applied in different industrial spheres: rebars - in polish highways construction and sea piers reinforcement; pipes - for production of famous trailer marks and other machinery; round bars – production of submarine and sea craft components.
The BMZ specialists are sure that the predicted growth of Polish economics in 2015-2020 will allow to not only keep current supply level, but increase it in a such difficult time for metallurgy.
