BMZ participated actively in Byelorussian Industrial Forum
OJSC "BSW - management company of "BMC" holding" took part in Byelorussian Industrial Forum 2015, conducted within May 12 - 15 in Minsk. The company was represented in specialized fair ‘Promoexpo — Modern Works, the 12th international contest of energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies and equipment, as well as at the competition of welders.
Annually Byelorussian Steel Works participates in international competition of energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies and equipment, as a part of the forum. In 2015 BMZ specialists presented the project ‘Reconstruction of electric arc furnace № 1 (EAF-1) with adoption of new oxygen technology’. This project ranked second and was among the top three in nomination ‘Technologies, equipment and materials for energy and electrotechnical fields in the industry and energy sector’.
BMZ people were also a success at the 11th competition of Byelorussian welders with international participation. Five workers of BMZ (D.S. Budnik, M.G Kazakov, E.M. Gavrilenko, P.A. Birukov, I.L. Shilov) demonstrated their craftsmanship. The contestants were to not only answer the oral examination questions, but demonstrate their craftsmanship. It should be noted, that Dmitry S. Budnik and Ruslan A. Birukov were among the top six and proved their professionalism and skill.
As for ‘PROMEXPO – MODERN WORKS’ – international specialized exhibition, Byelorussian Metallurgical Company was presented by all key enterprises of the holding in an individual stand.
