BSW export exceeds 1 billion US dollars
According to operational data for 10 months of 2018 Open Joint Stock Company "Byelorussian steel works - management company of «Byelorussian metallurgical company» hоlding» exported 1.66 million tons of steel products worth over a billion US dollars, which is already $ 50 million more than the total of 2017. In real terms growth rate compared to the same period of 2017 is 107.6%, in money terms - 131.5 percent. Return on sales - 9 percent.
In January-October 2018, BSW produced 2.02 million tons of steel (105.3% over the same period last year), 1.76 million tons of rolled products (99.1%), 125 thousand tons of seamless pipes (110.5%) and 349.6 thousand tons (101%) of steel-wire shops (steel cord, bead wire, hose wire and general purpose wire).
During this period, BSW products were exported to 62 countries of the world. The top 5 importers of Belarusian steel are Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Israel and Lithuania.
