BSW will host the fourth suppliers’ conference

Within the framework of international conference "Foundry and metallurgy 2018. Belarus" which will host the 4th international conference of suppliers of OJSC " BSW - management company of "BMC" holding”, which will be held on October 17-18, 2018 .It is expected that about 100 business partners from around the world will take part in it. Six of them on the basis of the work for the reporting period will be awarded with the awards "Best Supplier" or "Reliable Supplier".

During the conference, business partners will learn about the plans for innovative development of the enterprise, discuss with the plant management the principles of evaluation and selection of suppliers in the BSW quality management system, as well as get acquainted with the results of the purchases conducted for 2015-2017. Six suppliers who, based on the results of their work for the specified period, did not violate the terms of contracts and had no comments on the quality of the products delivered, will be awarded the title of "Best Supplier" or "Reliable Supplier". The award will be held in three groups: Raw Materials, Materials and Equipment and Tools.

   It should be noted that the Byelorussian Steel Works is constantly striving to expand the number of its potential suppliers, which contributes to the formation of competition between them, which means that it increases the efficiency of the purchases. So, only in 2017, the technical services of the company tested trial batches of more than 130 items of materials and products: 64 of them are recommended for use in production, and according to the 43rd positions, the tests continue. In total, the work done allowed BSW to save more than $ 10 million.

   In 2018, BSW for the fourth time will gather its suppliers to a specialized conference. A similar forum was held in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
