Members of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus had a visiting meeting at BMZ
On November 28, 2017 the visiting meeting of the standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on industry, fuel-energy complex, transport and communications was held at Byelorussian Steel Works. The agenda of the deputies was the issues regarding the developed draft law of the Republic of Belarus "About electric power industry" and other aspects of improving legal conditions for the operation of industrial organizations in the country.
It is not a coincidence that Byelorussian Steel Works became the platform for discussion of the legislative base for energy supply of industrial enterprises. Being one of the leading exporters of our country, BMZ is one of the most energy-intensive enterprises.
- Legislative work requires the replenishment of the actual data, current problems that are in the real sector. This meeting ensures that our laws reflect the real situation that we have in the economy.That is why we visit the leading enterprises of the country at the stage of preparation of the draft Law "About electric power industry". It is important for us to communicate with the specialists working in this sector in order to examine their opinions, — said the Chairman of the standing Committee on industry, fuel-energy complex, transport and communication Andrey Rybak.
During the visiting meeting at BMZ the deputies communicated with its management and leading specialists, became familiar with the current situation, plans and prospects of the company. They visited the productionfacilities: Melting Shop-1, Pipe RollingShop, Steel WireShop-2, Rolling Shops-1and 2.It is worth noting that one of the members of the standing Committee on industry, fuel and energy complex, transport and communication, member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Vyacheslav Dyachenko was the Chief of Steel Melting Shop and Chief Specialist for Steel Making Production not long ago.
