Products from a new small-sections rolling mill of BSW caused great interest at Fair in Brno
Byelorussian steel works took part in International Engineering Fair in Brno (Czech Republic). That industrial forum is one of the biggest expositions of products and technologies of industrial sector in Central and Eastern Europe and leading manufacturers from all over the Globe are gathered there.
— Negotiations and meetings with more than thirty foreign companies were carried out in the course of the Fair. Mainly those companies were from Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Among them were long-term partners of BSW and new ones. The customers demonstrated great interest to the advanced technology products of SRM-2. In most of the cases the customers were discussing possibilities of supplies of rebars in a straight length and in coils, wire rod and round bars designated for automotive industry. It is necessary to point out that in the results of the negotiations some of the customers confirmed their desire to place orders at BSW in December of the current year, some of them were interested in cooperation with other enterprises of the holding, for example with OJSC «Legmash Plant» and OJSC «RMZ».
On exhibiting areas in Brno, including more than 40 thousand square meters were presented equipment, machinery, materials and components, energy systems, scientific researches, financial services, logistics, technologies, etc. BSW participates in the Fair on a regular basis and this time offered to the visitors almost all product mix and also products of the enterprises included into holding «Byelorussian metallurgical company».
