A new light section and wire mill-2 of BMZ reaches its designed capacity
New products were manufactured with putting into operation of Rolling Shop-2: wire rod with different diameter, round bars. It should be noted big diameter round in coils in Garret line.
This type of products is absolutely new not only for BMZ but for Belarus and applied in automobile industry, robotics technology and agriculture. Big capability of installed equipment make it possible to manufacture products with the smallest deviations of geometrical dimensions and reach the mechanical properties requested by customer.
For two moths the team of Rolling Shop-2 manufactured 61 800 t (in Garret line – 3397 t). At present the big diameter round in coils are exported in Italy, Poland Germany and Hungary. OJSC “Rechitsa metizny plant” is also the consumer of wire rod products.
