Mill 150 (BMZ Rolling shop) have celebrated 15th birthday
The youngest mill in the Rolling shop, namely hot-rolling mill 150, have celebrated 15th birthday. The celebratory event was held on September 15 (start-up date back in the past). The heroes of this occasion were congratulated at BMZ.
The management of the plant and the trade union congratulated the millmen. Anatoli Savenok (general director) was the first to congratulate the team of mill 150.
— You are hard at work and in the run-up to your 15th birthday you have made another achievement, namely, mill 150 produced 51 200 t. of wire rod in August, — said Anatoli Savenok. — This product has always been in demand. I wish you more success, new achievements, good spirits and optimism.
The best workers from mill 150 were awarded Certificates of Honour by Anatoli Savenok. The Chairman of BMZ Trade Union A.A.Koleda, chief specialist for rolling N.I.Anelkin, deputy chief engineer for development of rolling O.M.Kirilenko also said their compliments to millmen.
September 15, 2000: mill 150 produced the first product. This mill was the result of completed reconstruction and division of mill 320/150. The mill team has been the rock for steel cord & wire production and for the entire plant throughout all these years. It is here, in mill 150 (Rolling shop) we produce the semi-finished product which is downstream used for production of world-known steel cord, hose wire, bead bronze-plated wire, as well as fasteners, manufactured by Rechitsa Hardware Plant.
